Coface and BCCI will issue Excellent SME certificate

Excellent SME certificate
Sofia, 28.01.2014. For the first time in Bulgaria Coface Bulgaria in cooperation with Bulgarian chamber of Commerce and Industry introduces “Excellent SME certificate”. It is a tool that rewards SMEs’ performance, in terms of commercial risk and safe businesses. The official launching of the certificate was done today, at a special ceremony in the hall of BCCI.

Excellent SME Certificate will be issued by the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, after Coface’s confirmation regarding the latest company's financial assessment. This report certifies the company's stability in terms of its financial statements, debts to the state budget, payment incidents and its legal situation. In addition, cooperation agreement in the field of business information and debt collection will be signed between Coface and BCCI, which will contribute to enhancing the competitiveness of Bulgarian enterprises and to reduce intercompany indebtedness.

Milena Videnova, Country Manager of Coface Bulgaria, expressed the confidence, that the “Excellent SME certificate” will add undisputable benefits to the positions and competitiveness of Bulgarian SMEs on the international and domestic markets. “The certificate will add on the reputation of the companies as well, and this will be based on the professionalism and experience of Coface in evaluating commercial risks” – she added.

Tzvetan Simeonov, Chairman of BCCI mentioned that “For BCCI the security of the commercial turnover is very important. We think, that the agreement will contribute companies to take informed decisions by having more comprehensive information about their partners”.

Performance of the companies is measured based on a number of criteria to ensure security of the partnership, and the logo of the certificate is placed on the site of the nominated SME, so that the reference be made clear from the first visit to the site. For this purpose licensed SafeSigned web technology is used, and it prevents the website logos and certificates from being copied to another, non-authorized website, by creating a web page on the SafeSigned servers for the companies that do not yet have their own pages.
