Milena Videnova in Business Start, Bloomberg TV Bulgaria.
Trade and construction are the sectors in which most of the companies bankrupt in the country. On the other side are the IT sector, pharmaceutical sector and services where there is high added value and increasing volumes, Milena Videnova , Country Manager of Coface Bulgaria said on "Business Start" on Bloomberg TV Bulgaria.
She announced that the companies which became insolvent in 2015 decrease both for Bulgaria - by 8%, and for the whole region - by 14%. However risks in the geopolitical environment as a result of Brexit, terrorist attacks and the coup attempt in Turkey will give their impact on business.
Bulgarian companies traditionally remain with high levels of indebtedness. "In terms of pure bank loan it is moving at the rate of 70-80% of GDP, while for the rest, when affiliates and related companies are removed, debt is over 220 percent," added Videnova.
She gave her opinion on the investment activity in the country and her forecast on the situation in Turkey.
